

Stock-Take Lead
As a Stock-take lead, the main responsibility is to lead the inventory team and coordinate with all relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate inventory counts in line with the Group’s annual stock-take plan and to report on stock discrepancies in a timely manner.
The selected candidate will also be required to work night shifts to lead the stock-take team.
Team responsibility:
- Efficient recruiting of counters and rostering within allowed budgets to ensure continuity and completion of annual plan.
- Contribute to training and development of the team.
Count responsibility:
- Collaborate with the Operations team on the stores organisation and timely processing of invoices and credit notes in preparation for the stock-takes.
- Smooth running of the Stock-takes in line with the stock-take SOP, with focus on count accuracy.
- Diligent closure of stock-take adjustment in stock management system following spot checks and thorough review of main discrepancies.
- Reporting (content and format of analysis as agreed) to Cost Controller on a daily basis
- Maintain inventory reports to track key performance indicators.
Equipment Responsibility:
Responsible for the IT equipment provided for use by the stock-take team, thus ensuring that it is used in accordance with training provided, and the organisation’s policies and procedures.
Responsible for using, where applicable, any safety equipment or Personal Protective Equipment provided as per legal requirements and for ensuring that the equipment used by the team is well maintained.
Required skills and competencies:
- Eye for detail;
- Experience with using IT equipment and computer software;
- Leadership ability to supervise and motivate a team;
- Genuine desire to provide services with a high degree of personal responsibility;
- Full driving licence.
