Report to: Shop Supervisor

Position Overview:

The Store Assistant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the sales team in a Retail environment. This role involves assisting customers with product selection, processing transactions, and maintaining inventory.

A successful Sales Assistant has strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and a passion for sales. By providing knowledgeable and friendly service, they help create a positive shopping experience and contribute to achieving sales targets. Previous retail experience is beneficial but not always necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in the store
• Rotate and replenish stock and keep the store tidy
• Arrange displays correctly
• Place goods in a specific area during a sale or promotion to maximise sales
• Handle complaints and queries
• Cleaning dutis in the store
• Follow all companies’ policies and procedures
• Controll and put price on products
• Monitor the shop to deter and theft
