🎯 Your Mission

As our Sushi Chef, you’ll be responsible for preparing high-quality sushi and Japanese-inspired dishes, ensuring excellent presentation, freshness, and adherence to brand and hygiene standards.

📋 What You’ll Do

• Prepare sushi, sashimi, rolls, and other Japanese dishes to a high standard
• Ensure freshness, quality, and correct storage of all ingredients
• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations at all times
• Assist with menu preparation and daily mise en place
• Monitor stock levels and support ordering and inventory control
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workstation
• Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service
• Support training and guidance of junior kitchen staff when required

💡 What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of sushi techniques, knife skills, and Japanese ingredients
• High attention to detail and passion for food quality
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
