The Position

• Technical Support for our division Automated Machines
• Based in Malta
• Work hours - Monday to Friday 9:00 - 18:00

Part of a team that consists of:

• Marketing & Business Development manager -> based in Malta, generates leads. Sales Manager -> based in Malta, builds a network of distributors worldwide. Senior Project Manager Mechatronic -> based in Malta, handles everything technical. Director and co-founder of the company-> based in Malta
  
  

Basic Requirements:

Education:

• Technical School, 2-year university degree

Experience:

• 1+ year of experience in Mechatronics or software development

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of operating systems (Linux)
• Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
• Scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python) for automation
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
• Software and product testing, create testing procedure and provide recommendation for improvement
• Experience with Virtual Machine
• Some knowledge of mechatronic systems, including sensors, actuators, embedded systems, and software integration would be useful
• Some knowledge of backend development would be useful

Languages

• Fluent in English

Soft skills

• Organizational and communication skills are critical.
• Able to communicate with European customers on technical issues

Daily Duties

• Provide support to customers with machines in use when issues arise
• Arrange all requests from customers, from spare parts deliveries to software debug
• Run extensive tests on new software before release
• Sometimes, for software testing, you need to able to write a few lines of code/script to test the software
• Work closely with developers, QA, and system admins to ensure smooth releases.
• Can make recommendations for overall improvement of the Department and Company.
