About

Universal Banker

The Universal Banker role empowers our staff to be more empathic towards customer needs, take more ownership and increased skills and provide greater customer service at first point of contact. The Universal Banker will be able to serve our customers universally also including Premier and Personal Lending to enable a one stop shop support to customers.

You are required to identify and fulfil customers’ evolving needs and refer cross-sales opportunities. You will also be expected to undertake a wide range of front office duties as may be required.

In this role you will:

Deliver the best service for all Wealth & Personal Banking customers
Be opening accounts and provide basic banking needs to our customers
Cater for Lending needs, enquiries and requests of Bank's customers as well as non-customers in general
Handle customer complaints, problems and difficulties, offering appropriate solutions and/or ensuring immediate follow up
Attain our customer service branch objectives, focusing on customer needs
Maintain excellent quality of work while seeing to customer requests and carrying out administrational tasks

You should apply if you have:

Passionate delivery for excellent customer service being committed to empathize and delight our customers
An ability to have open discussions with customers to identify their needs and offer the appropriate service / product
Cordial, calm disposition and organised
Fluency in Maltese and English language with good communication skills
Proven previous experience in customer facing banking role or in possession of, or in the process of obtaining a qualification in banking, finance or related area

Other information

This role is offered on a full-time or key-time basis ( minimum 30 hours ) and is based in our branches (opening hours available on website).
