B&amp;B Construction is seeking a Mid-Level Civil CAD Drafter. Looking for the ideal candidate to perform a variety of civil CAD production. Prepare plans for our precasting production, from concept to completion of design, including costing, CAD drawings, and material take- offs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li class="MsoNormal">Create models 2D &amp; 3D that cover all structural and design requirements (SOP, procedure).</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Optimise the design in terms of concrete, steel, and wood, and be able to quickly compare alternative ways.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Understand and improve methods that minimise waste of table space.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Estimate and generate the list of materials based on the designed drawing.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Cost control and Quality control following ISO standard procedures.</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li class="MsoNormal">Degree in Computer Aided Design, Engineering Technology, or BTEC Extended Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment or the equivalent.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, and Rhinoceros 3D Software.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Autodesk Inventory.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Excel Level Expert.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">English and Maltese Language.</li>
</ul>
SKILLS

<li class="MsoNormal">Ability to create surfaces, alignments, profiles &amp; sections required to document civil work.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Ability to detail basic structural connections.</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">General knowledge of engineering principles and materials for civil work</li>

<li class="MsoNormal">Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)</li>
