Groffe Elevator Services commenced operations in April 2002 as a partnership between Mr. George Grech and Ing. Stefano Cremona when, after working together in Malta for a local elevator contracting company for several years, they decided that they would start their own elevator services company. Groffe Elevator Services Ltd. was started up primarily with the aim of bridging a gap that existed in the market for elevator solutions. Immediately the partnership was associated with prestigious suppliers to offer solutions for existing buildings as well as new developments. From humble beginnings in 2002, each year saw a steady increase in sales turnover, number of new units installed, number of lifts under maintenance as well as employees. In May 2005 the partnership was changed to a Limited Liability Company with Mr. George Grech and Ing. Stefano Cremona becoming Directors and Shareholders. The company specialises in customised applications for vertical and inclined transportation. Today the company is able to offer its clients a vast range of products such as hydraulic passenger lifts, electric traction passenger lifts, machine-room-less lifts for both traction and hydraulic, car lifts and car platforms, dumbwaiters, goods-only lifts, service lifts and home lifts. Groffe Elevator Service specialise in customised lift solutions whatever the shaft dimension given.
