LifeStar Insurance

<ul>
<li>Conducting actuarial analysis, product profit testing, back-testing, supporting financial and statistical modelling,</li>
<li>Ensuring compliance with IFRS17 and Solvency II standards,</li>
<li>Analysing insurance risk, and</li>
<li>Contributing to product development and risk assessments.</li>
</ul>

Main tasks and responsibilities

<ul>
<li>Proven expertise in Actuarial Science and/or Finance with relevant certifications.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of Finance, including IFRS17 regulations and financial reporting.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Statistics and advanced data analysis techniques.</li>
<li>Experience in the Life Insurance industry and understanding of risk management methodologies.</li>
<li>Exceptional Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data.</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and good communication capabilities.</li>
<li>Ideally in possession of a qualification such as a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or a related field</li>

<li>Process of new applications including data input, customer screening and background checks</li>
<li>Dealing with and following on any issues relating to policies emanating from the Italian market</li>
<li>Review all documentation, identify missing documents and issue Policy Documents</li>
<li>Handling clients&rsquo; and brokers&rsquo; queries</li>
<li>Updating and maintaining databases</li>
<li>Other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function, which may be assigned from time to time.</li>

The Health Claims &amp; Administration Officer will be responsible for health insurance claim processing and participating in the smooth running of the health claims department. In addition, the Health Claims &amp; Administration Officer will carry out administrative tasks, supporting the entire branch operations to ensure an excellent service to Bupa Malta customers.
