Administration & Sales Support Officer – Bupa

The Administration & Sales Support Officer is responsible for serving incoming requests from prospective and existing corporate clients and brokers for health insurance policy quotes and preparing policy renewals packages. Furthermore, the role contains a strong administrative element to ensure smooth

sales operations. Excellent customer care, service standards, and customer relationship management are a matter of course.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • First point of contact for prospective and existing clients regarding product queries and related policy / contract management.
  • Handling payment administration and supporting clients with related requests.
  • Ensuring high quality standards, accuracy and consistency, for example by overseeing, reviewing and the updating of company literature.
  • Handling incoming queries from (corporate) clients and brokers for new business requests by preparing health insurance proposals, occasionally arranging client meetings, and securing sales in line with company goals.
  • Preparing individual and corporate group renewal packs by liaising with the principal, with clients, and securing renewals in line with company retention targets.
  • Supporting in maintaining Bupa’s customer portfolio by developing strong relationships and identifying opportunities for long-term collaboration.
  • Liaising with the principal to obtain competitive group rates and favorable terms that meet client requirements.
  • Engaging with prospective clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Ensuring high level of customer satisfaction through professional sales support, timely communication, and effective follow-up.
  • Acting as a point of contact for Bupa Global plan sales, renewals, and ongoing customer relationship management.
  • Assisting in salesforce management and oversight.
  • Other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function, which may be assigned from time to time.
Educational and skill requirements
  • Previous experience in insurance preferably in health
  • Highly developed customer service skills
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Strong team player with a strong sense of initiative
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal 
  • Proficient in Office 365
