Assistant Front Office Manager

Role Overview As the Assistant Front Office Manager, you will be a pivotal part of the hotel's front office operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and seamless day-to-day functions. This role involves leading the front desk team, coordinating with various departments, and maintaining the highest service standards.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Supervise front office personnel, ensuring prompt, professional, and courteous guest greetings.
- Train, mentor, and support the Front Desk Team to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with efficiency and empathy.
- Promote hotel services and facilities to enhance guest experience and revenue.
- Assign rooms based on guest preferences and special requests.
- Foster collaborative relationships with other departments, particularly Housekeeping and Reservations, to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist the Front Office Manager in managing daily operations.
- Act as Duty Manager when required, ensuring the hotel's operational excellence.
Educational and skill requirements
- Experience: Previous experience as an Assistant Front Office Manager or in a similar role in a hotel or dynamic environment is advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of another European language is a plus.
- Time Management: Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Customer Focus: Passionate about delivering exceptional guest service.
