Key Responsibilities (Based on Position Applied For): Sous Chef
🔹 Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service and high-quality food production.
🔹 Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring efficiency and adherence to culinary standards.
🔹 Contribute to menu development and oversee recipe execution.
🔹 Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and food quality standards.
Chef Tournant
🔹 Rotate across different kitchen sections, providing support where needed.
🔹 Ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation across all stations.
🔹 Assist in training junior chefs and maintaining kitchen efficiency.
🔹 Uphold the highest food safety and hygiene standards.
Chef de Partie
🔹 Take full responsibility for a designated kitchen section (e.g., grill, sauté, pastry).
🔹 Execute mise en place and ensure dishes meet quality and presentation standards.
🔹 Work closely with senior chefs to maintain consistency and innovation.
🔹 Monitor stock levels and assist in maintaining kitchen organization.
Commis Chef
🔹 Assist chefs in food preparation, including chopping, cooking, and plating.
🔹 Learn and apply kitchen techniques under the guidance of senior chefs.
🔹 Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
🔹 Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols.
Strong knowledge of continental cuisine, techniques, and industry trends.
Proven experience in a high-end establishment or 5-star hotel setting.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Creativity and passion for delivering outstanding dining experiences.
A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and share ideas.
