Assistant Restaurant Manager
Meliteh Recruiting, on behalf of our well-known client, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join their team in Malta.

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a memorable experience from arrival to departure
• Handle guest complaints during service, escalating serious issues to the Restaurant Manager when necessary
• Oversee the Waiter & Bar team, ensuring they provide attentive and personalized service to all guests
• Conduct training sessions on Service Standards, ensuring the team consistently delivers high-quality service
• Manage opening and closing procedures, ensure compliance with operational guidelines, and be the last to leave at closing
• Provide ongoing support and mentorship to the Supervisor & Waiter team, fostering their professional growth
• Ensure tables are turned over efficiently to maintain a smooth flow of dining
• Collaborate with the Senior Receptionist during designated shifts to manage and communicate service flow effectively
• Frequently assist in a section of tables, taking orders and supporting the waiter team during busy periods
• Oversee private events in the Private Dining Room, coordinating all aspects to ensure successful execution
• Assist with operations and service in the Lounge area to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including food handling and hygiene practices
• Manage cash and credit transactions securely and accurately, following company procedures
• Stay updated on food and beverage trends and complete all required online training within 2 weeks of starting
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-end restaurants
• Strong customer service background with in-depth F&B knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated management skills with strong leadership, motivation, and people management abilities
• Financial management skills
• Must be in possession of a valid Skills Pass (www.skillpass.org.mt)
