Barista
Meliteh Recruiting is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Barista to join our client's team on a full-time basis.
The ideal candidate will follow operational policies and procedures to ensure high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.
• Follow operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security
• See to customer needs and maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Resolve customer complaints efficiently and quickly
• Provide quality beverages, whole beans, and food products consistently by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
• Maintain and clean the store as needed
• Handle cash and record customers’ order information accurately
• Assist and coach new staff members on board
• Contribute to a positive team environment
• Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments using existing organizational methods
• Good communication skills, both written and spoken in English
• At least 1 year of work experience in a similar position
• Availability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
• Basic math skills for cash handling
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and products
