CAMO Engineer / Planner
We are looking for a CAMO Engineer / Planner to join our growing team.
Role:
The CAMO Engineer / Planner is responsible for the efficient and timely planning and coordination of all maintenance activities, ensuring the company’s aircraft fleet remains airworthy and compliant with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate maintenance requirements with various Line and Base maintenance organisations.
- Provide technical support and advisory services.
- Prepare detailed work packs, ensuring all necessary documentation and instructions are included.
- Manage material preloading to ensure the availability of necessary parts, tools, and equipment ahead of scheduled maintenance.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with the approved Aircraft Maintenance Programme, including adherence to mandatory ADs, CMRs, LLPs, ALIs, and other regulatory requirements.
- Oversee unscheduled maintenance and defect rectifications to ensure compliance with approved standards or deferments according to MEL/CDL requirements ensuring that no postponement of such a defect is done unless in accordance with an approved procedure.
Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:
- An engineering or aeronautical degree or an Aircraft Maintenance License, B1, B2, C or equivalent.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of EASA regulations including Part 145 and Part CAMO.
Minimum Experience:
- 2 years experience in a similar CAMO/Planning role or 5 years experience in a Part 145 organisation.
Job-Specific Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written English.
- Report writing and production.
- Ability to communicate and to present information clearly and concisely.
- Proficient in computer usage, including maintenance planning software and MS Office Suite.
- Flexible approach to work, to match the operational requirements.
- Highly motivated and proactive with a willingness to take initiative.
- Excellent organisation skills and able to plan and prioritise effectively.
