Catering Manager

You will become a key member of the Restaurant at our legendary Campus based in Malta joining the unique opportunity to work in a sociable and multicultural environment.

Main tasks and responsibilities

You will support your kitchen colleagues with the following activities:

  • Liaising wit the Managing Director and other managers to ensure an integrated and quality service is offered to restaurant clients
  • Training of department staff
  • Overseeing the preparation and serving of food in the bistro and restaurant
  • Prepare menus for all programs offered.
  • Overseeing department work scheme and roster, to ensure an adequate number of staff to ensure an excellent service
  • Negotiating arrangements and offering food and drinks
  • Monitoring stock, inventory, supplies and expiry dates.
  • Help Kitchen staff in food preparation, when needed
Educational and skill requirements
  • Completed Bachelor's or Master's programme in business admin, events, tourism management, communication, online marketing or similar preferred
  • interest in online communication and travel
  • Strong communication skills and a high level of the Ukrainian and English language (speaking and writing)
  • Candidates with knowledge of the Polish language will be given preference
  • Good knowledge and experience with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Good teamwork, organisational, communicative, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and overall quality
  • Experience with social media is considered a bonus
  • Experience with CRM systems is an advantage
