Chef - Various Levels

Due to recent growth the Company is currently seeking to employ Chefs at Various Levels to join the production team in both the Savoury & Pastry departments.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Seeking guidance to ensure that food in assigned section is being prepared according to quality standards;
  • Ensuring that equipment in assigned section is used safely and appropriately;
  • Following recipes according to the company’s procedures;
  • Ensuring that proper HACCP practices are adhered to;
Educational and skill requirements
  • Proven experience as a Commis Chef for at least 1 year
  • Culinary School certification will be considered an asset
  • Experience working with dough products including pies, pasta and also baking dry sweets would be considered an asset;
  • Food handling certification (B)
  • Fluent in English
  • Team player
  • Able to work under pressure.
