Chef - Various Levels
Due to recent growth the Company is currently seeking to employ Chefs at Various Levels to join the production team in both the Savoury & Pastry departments.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Seeking guidance to ensure that food in assigned section is being prepared according to quality standards;
- Ensuring that equipment in assigned section is used safely and appropriately;
- Following recipes according to the company’s procedures;
- Ensuring that proper HACCP practices are adhered to;
Educational and skill requirements
- Proven experience as a Commis Chef for at least 1 year
- Culinary School certification will be considered an asset
- Experience working with dough products including pies, pasta and also baking dry sweets would be considered an asset;
- Food handling certification (B)
- Fluent in English
- Team player
- Able to work under pressure.
