

Compliance Monitoring and Safety Manager
Harmony Jets is an aircraft management company based in Malta, which is continuously undergoing dynamic expansion.
We are looking at adding more personnel at our offices at the Quad Towers within the Central Business District in Birkirkara and are looking for an ambitious and forward-thinking Compliance Monitoring and Safety Manager
To join our dynamic and target driven in-house team to who will be responsible for the Compliance Monitoring function; through which it is ensured that the organisation works in accordance with its applicable procedures and regulatory requirements.

- Monitoring that the activities of Part-M/-CAMO are being performed in accordance with the accepted procedures. Monitoring the continued compliance with requirements of Part-M, Part-CAMO, EASA Regulations and TMCAD national requirements.
- Monitoring that all PART M and Part-CAMO activities are being performed in accordance with the approved procedures.
- Monitoring the continued compliance with the requirements of Part-M and Part-CAMO.
- Contributing to CAME amendments in general and developing and amending Compliance Monitoring related CAME content
- Monitoring the Quality of pre-flight inspections.
- Monitoring all sub-contracted activities.
- Monitoring the Compliance System by means of an annual audit plan for compliance with EASA Part-M and Part-CAMO requirements.
- Ensuring sufficient competent resources to carry out auditing and monitoring functions as part of the Compliance Monitoring system.
- Ensuring that there is a system for establishing and controlling the competence of personnel involved in the continuing airworthiness management, airworthiness review and/or quality audits function, and that it is being performed on a yearly basis.
- Participating in the Company and Continuing Airworthiness Safety Meetings;
- Performing recommendations to the authority to approve/limit/or suspend the approval of HARMONY JETS based on the outcome of performed audits.
- Issuing authorization to auditors to perform specific tasks based on their competency assessment.
- Providing regular feedback on the results of audits and the status of the quality system to the Accountable Manager, so that appropriate corrective measures can be taken if deemed necessary.
Further responsibilities include:
- Monitoring all company CAMO handbooks and manuals.
- Performing audits on the continuing airworthiness system, including the contracted maintenance organizations, to ensure that they remain in conformity with the applicable Part-M/-CAMO requirements.
- Ensuring that corrective actions in response to findings are initiated and completed, such that they are efficient and meet their intended purpose.
- Participating in competence assessments HARMONY JETS personnel as may be required by CAME 0.3.e.iii
- Ensuring that all maintenance is completed in compliance to the quality standards as set by EASA PART- 145, also considering the construction and quality standards prescribed in EASA PART 145.A.65
- Correspondence with the authority
- Ensuring that all continuing airworthiness documentation is used properly and accordingly
- Monitoring all company CAMO handbooks and manuals.
- Performing compliance audits on the continuing airworthiness system, including the contracted maintenance organizations, to ensure that they remain in conformity with the applicable Part M and Part Camo requirements
The individual will be also responsible to carry out regular audits according to the audit plan approved by the Accountable Manager. The individual has to ensure that all aspects of Part M are checked every 12 months and every procedure has to be checked during the audit period.
- Have previous experience in an Airline/Independent CAMO, or aircraft maintenance facility
- Demonstrate professional behaviour in accordance with Harmony Jets’ policy in all Company business
- Demonstrate appropriate attitude and behaviour in support of safe working practices
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks with a high degree of attention to detail
- Are self-motivated and self-driven, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team
- Have proven ability to manage time and workloads for maximum efficiency
