The Lino Spiteri Foundation is a social purpose foundation dedicated to supporting the sustainable employment of persons with disabilities. The foundation is a public social partnership between JobsPlus and Empower Coop Ltd, formally established in 2015.

<li>Build and cultivate relationships with businesses to provide employment opportunities for disabled people and vulnerable groups.</li>
<li>Support employers with services such as job carving, recruitment support, and the uptake of incentives available.</li>
<li>Work with employers to identify solutions and remove obstacles to hiring disabled people</li>
<li>Maintain ongoing relationships with relevant stakeholders in the field of inclusive employment</li>
<li>Liaise with other executives to identify matches between candidates and vacancies</li>
</ul>

Main tasks and responsibilities

<ul>
<li>Level 6 qualification in a relevant field (or relevant work experience)</li>
<li>Good command of English and Maltese languages</li>
<li>A genuine interest in the sector of inclusion</li>
<li>Valid driving licence</li>
<li>Desirable: Work experience in the social sector and/or in recruitment-related roles</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Overall purpose of the position</strong></p>
<p>The role of a Job Coach is to support and coach individuals on the RDP database within their workplace. The overall aim is that the individual gets the necessary training and support, which would enable them to be integrated into the work environment. The Job Coach supports the individual in getting accustomed to the tasks and sequence of work they are required to do, getting more acquainted with their working environment and colleagues, and identifying their line of command.</p>
<p><strong>Job duties</strong></p>
<p>Supporting Trainees whilst they practice different work tasks. This involves:</p>
<ul>
<li>Systematically analysing work routines and environments so as to plan and provide appropriate and effective training, supervision and support;</li>
<li>Breaking work into reachable tasks;</li>
<li>Observing and assessing individuals&rsquo; performance and behaviour;</li>
<li>Provide the necessary on-site and off-site support to the individual for fuller integration and to foster a successful work experience;</li>
<li>Monitor the client&rsquo;s development, job performance and job satisfaction;</li>
<li>Keeping up-to-date records / documentation of clients&rsquo; performance, strengths, areas for development, and goals.</li>
</ul>

<li>Certificate in Social Science subject / Disability Studies or other equivalent qualification; or</li>
<li>3 O&rsquo; levels and 1 year of work experience in the disability / mental health sector;</li>
