Delivery Driver (C Licence)

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery Operations: Safely operate C-category vehicles to transport and deliver FMCG products across Malta, ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently and according to planned schedules.
• Product Handling: Assist with loading and unloading activities while ensuring all goods are handled carefully, including products requiring special storage or temperature considerations.
• Customer Service: Represent the Client professionally when interacting with supermarkets, retailers, and other delivery points, providing courteous support and maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Documentation Management: Complete and maintain all required delivery paperwork, including delivery records, invoices, and return documentation, ensuring accuracy and proper processing.
• Compliance and Safety: Follow all applicable transport regulations, road safety requirements, and internal procedures to ensure safe and compliant delivery operations.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

• Driving Licence: Possession of a valid C Licence, a clean driving record, and a current CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Experience: Previous experience as a truck driver is required, with experience in FMCG, food, beverage, or retail distribution considered a strong advantage.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities with the confidence to interact professionally with customers, store representatives, and internal teams.
• Interpersonal Skills: A friendly, dependable, and service-oriented approach when dealing with customers and colleagues.
• Technical Skills: Good understanding of vehicle operation, delivery procedures, and safe handling practices for commercial goods.
• Organisation: Ability to manage delivery schedules, paperwork, and daily routes in an organised and efficient manner.
• Self-Motivated: A proactive and responsible individual who can work independently while maintaining high standards of reliability.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to handle delivery-related challenges calmly and find practical solutions when required.
