Delivery Driver (C License)

Salvo Grima Group is a dynamic group of companies specializing in ship supply, travel retail, wholesale and product distribution in Europe and worldwide. It was first established in 1860 and now employs over 530 people with operations in eight countries.

We are seeking motivated and reliable Delivery Drivers (C License) to join our Ship Supply team on a full-time basis. This role is essential to ensure the timely and accurate collection and delivery of goods from various suppliers to our warehouse, and onward to our valued clients.

The ideal candidate would be:

• Motivated, smart and a good team-player;
• Physically able to lift and transfer loads (approx. 15 to 20kg);
• Literate and able to communicate in English, proficiency in Maltese is an asset;
• In possession of a clean and valid Maltese “C” category driving license;
• Having a clean police conduct;
• Flexibility to work during weekends or outside normal working hours when operational requirements or vessel schedules require it;
• Has previous working experience in a similar role.

Duties include:

• Unloading goods and checking against delivery orders;
• Organising and maintaining goods;
• Assisting in Storekeeping duties;
• Ensuring that deliveries are correct;
• Using a forklift and other warehouse equipment (training will be provided);
• Ensuring that clients are satisfied with delivery service;
• Operating and maintaining the vehicle that the employee is entrusted with;
• Working as part of a team to ensure the highest level of customer care;
• Ensuring diligence and complying with Company Health and Safety Procedures, Quality Service objectives and follow up on ISO related matters.
