We are currently looking for a Demi Chef De Partie to join our team at db Group.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Assist the Sous Chef and Chef Tournant in kitchen operations to maintain our company’s excellent reputation for food quality.
  • Prepare food items according to menu recipes, ensuring the required quality and quantities are met.
  • Uphold the integrity and authenticity of the recipes offered at the restaurant/section.
  • Optimize cooking processes while focusing on speed and quality.
  • Always maintain a safe kitchen environment.
  • Ensure food handling processes comply with HACCP food safety guidelines, regulations, and procedures.
  • Interact with customers, providing clear communication on menu items and promoting dishes.
  • Participate in training and development programs within the organization. Foster a climate of friendly cooperation and teamwork.
  • Work within the department’s established budget framework.
Educational and skill requirements
  • Previous Experience in a kitchen environment is essential.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of basic kitchen preparation, various dishes, and cooking methods.
  • Good understanding of authentic ingredients and suitable substitutes.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for culinary innovation.
  • Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Good verbal and written communication in English and any other language.
  • Maintain a high level of personal hygiene.
  • Conforms with hotels grooming standards.
