The Group is currently delivering the City Centre project, a major mixed-use development that includes the 5-star Hard Rock Hotel, retail areas, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

Position Overview

We are looking for an Interior Architect / Interior Designer to join the db Group Malta team, supporting the design development and execution of interior spaces.

The role involves close collaboration with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure that design solutions are effectively implemented during the construction phase.

Key Responsibilities

Support interior design development for hotel, retail, restaurant, and entertainment spaces
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and complementary disciplines (MEP)
Work closely with contractors, suppliers, and site teams during construction
Follow up on-site works to ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards
Prepare and review technical drawings for execution
Assist in preparing BOQs for materials, FF&E, and finishes
Support FF&E selection, including furniture, fabrics, materials, and color palettes
Produce 3D models and renderings for coordination and presentations
Prepare joinery and millwork drawings
Coordinate basic lighting design concepts with lighting consultants
Proactively identify and resolve design and site-related issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

Degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or Architecture
Experience in design development and construction support
Good understanding of construction processes and site coordination
Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple teams
Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Technical Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD
Experience with joinery/millwork detailing
Basic knowledge of lighting design
Ability to create 3D models and renderings
Basic understanding of BOQs, FF&E, materials, and finishes
