
New Restaurant Opening
A new restaurant is opening in the South of Malta, we are looking for various staff to fill positions.

Executive Chef
An experienced Executive Chef is required for immediate employment for a challenging operation in the South of Malta.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Overseeing kitchen staff and ensuring the quality of food items, managing a team of chefs and assistants.
- Developing unique and cuisine-appropriate menus
- Collaborating with the Restaurant Manager to set item prices
- Staying current on developing trends in the restaurant industry
- Maintaining the kitchen and surrounding areas in conditions that meet the company standards and health code regulations
- Monitoring inventory and purchasing supplies and food from approved vendors
- Hiring, training and supervising kitchen staff
- Assisting and directing kitchen staff in meal preparation, creation, plating and delivery
Educational and skill requirements
- The succesful applicant shall be a seasoned chef with a strong background preferably in hotels.
- Knowledge of efficient and cost effective purchasing with an ability of organizing and delegating is a must.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment is a must
