We are seeking to recruit an experienced and hands-on Head of Maintenance to oversee the maintenance and technical operations of our hotel.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the hotel&rsquo;s rooms, plant, equipment and facilities are maintained to a high standard, with particular emphasis on preventative maintenance and the timely resolution of faults.

Requirements
Candidates should have:
<ul>
<li>Previous experience in a Head of Maintenance, Maintenance Manager or similar role, preferably within a hotel or large commercial property</li>
<li>Good working knowledge of plant and machinery</li>
<li>Electrical License B</li>
<li>Good knowledge and practical experience in plumbing</li>
<li>Experience with air-conditioning and HVAC systems</li>
<li>Ability to diagnose faults and carry out or coordinate repairs</li>
<li>Strong understanding of preventative maintenance programmes</li>
<li>Ability to supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and external contractors</li>
<li>Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements</li>
<li>Ability to organise, prioritise and follow through on maintenance works</li>
<li>Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends, according to the operational requirements of the hotel</li>
<li>Availability to respond to urgent maintenance issues when required</li>
</ul>

We are looking for someone who is proactive and hands-on, who can identify maintenance requirements before they develop into larger problems and take ownership of the overall upkeep of the property.

Previous experience in a similar position is essential.

<li>Handling guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Processing reservations and&nbsp;allocating&nbsp;guest rooms.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Collecting payments and&nbsp;maintaining&nbsp;accurate&nbsp;records.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Responding to guest enquiries and&nbsp;resolve&nbsp;issues promptly.&nbsp;</li>
