Inventory Supervisor

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Supervisor to oversee warehouse inventory operations and ensure the accurate receipt, storage, movement, and control of stock. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for inventory accuracy, receiving activities, stock transfers, and warehouse organization while maintaining high operational standards and productivity levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all inventory receiving activities and inbound stock processing.
  • Ensure accurate stock allocation, inventory transactions, and inventory records.
  • Manage stock transfers and monitor inventory levels to maintain stock accuracy.
  • Lead, allocate, and supervise inventory team members according to operational priorities.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and stock variances.
  • Monitor warehouse space utilization and optimize stock locations.
  • Ensure inventory documentation and system transactions are completed accurately and on time.
  • Track inventory KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within inventory and warehouse operations.
  • Collaborate with warehouse management and other departments to ensure efficient operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety and environmental procedures.

RequirementsEducation & Experience

  • Previous experience in inventory control, stock management, warehousing, or logistics.
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience within a warehouse environment is highly preferred.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory management software.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles and stock reconciliation processes.
