Our Mission Inspire believes that everyone has a right to equality and inclusion. Our mission is to try to help everyone with a disability achieve this. We do this by providing individuals and their families with educational, therapeutic and leisure services. We also advocate for inclusion, educate the general public, raise awareness among peers, and hold the best knowledge base on disability on the island. Our History The Inspire foundation is the result of a merger between Eden Foundation and Razzett Tal-Hbiberija – two leading charities that worked in the field of disability. The two organisations transferred all their resources and employees over to the new foundation, which now provides all the services in a one-stop-shop model avoiding duplication, enhancing service delivery and being more cost effective, leading to long term sustainability and added value. Today Today, Inspire helps hundreds of individuals with various disabilities ranging from Autism, Cerebral Palsy and others. About the Role

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Lifeguard to join our Rehab & Wellness team on a part-time casual basis. Our lifeguard shall be responsible for overseeing the swimming pool area and ensuring the safety of all users in accordance with applicable health and safety regulations related to pool operations.

What you'll be doing

Monitor swimmers and pool users to prevent dangerous or inappropriate behavior.
Ensure all pool rules are followed and maintain appropriate user conduct.
Remain at the poolside at all times; if leaving is necessary, a suitable replacement needs to be arranged and the reception staff needs to be informed.
Respond promptly and effectively to any issues, including emergencies, and take appropriate lifesaving action when required.
Provide friendly, helpful, and professional service to all customers at all times.
Manage access to wet-room facilities, giving priority to users who need them for changing or toileting.
Maintain the security of the premises.
Conduct regular patrols of the pool area and surrounding facilities.
Address and report any inappropriate behavior immediately to your direct or senior supervisor.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relevant to pool operations.
Carry out any additional instructions from your line manager necessary for the smooth functioning of the pool area.
Complete and sign all required documentation, including readings and logs, to support effective pool operations.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for an alert, physically fit, and highly responsible individual to join our Rehab Wellness Centre's ensuring all members and pool users safety and adherence to the organization's guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

Recognized award/certification in lifeguard and water rescue or relevant.
Valid First Aid course certification.
Previous experience in a similar role ideally in a similar setting.
Highly proficient in English language (Level C1 - both spoken & written).
Available to work in the evenings and weekends.
