Maintenance Manager

GoBnb Ltd. is seeking a hands-on and organised Maintenance Manager to join our growing property management company.The selected candidate will oversee maintenance operations across our portfolio of short-let properties, long-let properties and guesthouse units throughout Malta and Gozo. This role requires a practical individual who can lead a maintenance team, coordinate daily works, ensure quality standards and communicate professionally with property owners and internal departments

Main tasks and responsibilities
  •  Manage, supervise and support a team of handymen and maintenance workers.
  • lan and schedule daily works, preventive maintenance and emergency call-outs.
  •  Coordinate repairs, troubleshooting and general upkeep across managed properties.
  • Organise works including, but not limited to:

                 • Coordinating air-conditioning servicing
                 • Jacuzzi servicing
                 • Plastering, painting, and touch-ups
                 • Mould treatment and prevention
                 • Plumbing and electrical repairs
                 • Pest control
                 • General property maintenance

  • Prioritise urgent maintenance matters and coordinate after-hours emergencies when required.
  • Carry out regular property inspections and identify maintenance requirements.
  • Inspect completed works to ensure quality, cleanliness and company standards are maintained.
  • Communicate professionally with property owners regarding works required, damages, updates, costs and recommendations.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure maintenance issues are handled efficiently and with minimal disruption to guests and tenants.
  • Obtain and coordinate quotations from external contractors where required.
  • Prepare job sheets, cost breakdowns and supporting documentation for invoicing.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed works, materials used, pending jobs and follow-ups.
  • Monitor tools, stock and maintenance supplies.
  • Ensure works are completed efficiently, within agreed deadlines and to company standards.
Job benefits
  • Annual gross salary ranging from €25,000 to €32,000, depending on experience and suitability for the role.
