As a Manual Tester, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality of our software by designing and executing manual test cases, directly influencing how people move around urban environments.
- Design Test Cases: Build and execute test cases that cover business requirements and user flows to ensure product quality.
- Maintain Test Environment: Set up and maintain test environments for effective execution of test cases.
- Create Documentation: Prepare test documentation to ensure transparency and traceability throughout the QA process.
- Collaborate with Developers: Participate in review meetings with developers to communicate findings and prevent future issues.
- Report Bugs: Actively report bugs and contribute to improvement processes for the software.
- Work with Development Teams: Collaborate with development teams and business analysts to ensure smooth functionality and issue prevention.
- Technical Expertise: An IT-related degree or relevant experience in a tech/software development environment, with at least 1 year of experience in software testing.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and provide timely, accurate insights.
- Basic Programming Knowledge: Familiarity with Java and SQL to aid in testing.
- QA Methodologies & Tools: Experience in using testing tools, frameworks, and QA methodologies, with hands-on experience in Jira.
- Agile Experience: Experience working in an Agile environment, adapting quickly to a dynamic, fast-paced workflow.
