Marketing Manager
The Marketing Manager orchestrates and directs the marketing activities of the organisation’s products and services. Leading the Marketing team, this role plans, executes, and evaluates marketing programs to ensure the growth and profitability of company offerings.
Project Management and Marketing Strategy:
● Participate in setting marketing goals and budgets to ensure market share and product/service profitability.
Public Relations and Corporate Literature:
● Handle all public relations activities, prepare corporate literature, and manage the organisation’s participation in fairs and conferences.
Advertising and Promotions:
● Plan and oversee advertising and promotional campaigns across print and digital media.
● Communicate with external advertising agencies and manage ongoing campaigns.
Brand Contracts and Negotiations:
● Draft and finalise brand contracts, negotiate agreements, and sustain relationships with key accounts.
Branding and Visual Merchandising:
● Manage internal and external branding and visual merchandising strategies.
● Collaborate with other teams to create visual strategies and events for target markets.
Market Research and Analysis:
● Conduct marketing surveys and analyse market factors related to opportunities and threats.
● Evaluate market reactions to adjust marketing strategies to meet changing conditions.
● Monitor and analyse key performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Performance Monitoring:
● Ensure effective control of marketing results and take corrective action when needed.
● Prepare marketing activity reports on current and new product concepts.
Team Leadership:
● Provide strategic direction to the marketing team, offering coaching, guidance, and mentoring.
● Oversee the HR function in matters related to team management, including recruitment and performance appraisal.
- 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally in retail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
- Strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and marketing software (e.g., CRM, analytics).
