Panel Beater Foreman

Mizzi Automotive Services Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic person to work in this industry as a Panel Beater Foreman.

The Panel Beater Foreman is responsible to perform supervisory responsibilities for managing all aspects of panel beating and automotive paintjobs of the workshop.

Main tasks and responsibilities

To assist in planning, organizing, scheduling, and assigning the respective work being done at MAS.
To supervise, assist and provide counseling to all the employees of both the panel and paint shop.
To manage the parts intake, inventory, storing and distribution when necessary.
To maintain and update the workshop equipment to standard and in good working order.
To supervise, monitor and reconcile the tooling inventory in the workshop.
To communicate efficiently with departmental personnel and other companies.
To ensure that all employees adhere to Health and Safety and Company policies.
To report any health hazards to the Senior Operations Manager / Health and Safety Representative / Health and Safety Coordinator.
To report any near misses or injuries to the Body shop Manager / Health and Safety Representative / Health and Safety Coordinator.
Performs any other duties as assigned by his superiors from time to time.

Educational and skill requirements

Be able to multi-task and work on own initiative
Experience in a similar post is an asset
Be able to work in a team and maintain relationships both internal and external
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, able to maintain excellent relations with employees across the company
