Restaurant Manager - Qormi outlet

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the outlet, ensuring excellent customer service, strong team performance, operational efficiency, and profitability. The role requires a hands-on leader who can maintain Dee's standards, achieve business targets, and create a positive working environment while ensuring the smooth running of all shop activities.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Manage the daily operation of the outlet, ensuring all procedures are carried out efficiently and according to company standards.
Coordinate ordering processes with suppliers and ensure stock is received accurately and on schedule.
Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and minimise waste through effective stock control practices.
Oversee cash handling procedures, daily reconciliations, and accurate financial reporting.
Monitor sales performance and implement initiatives to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
Analyse product performance and support promotional activities to maximise sales opportunities.
Ensure the outlet is fully prepared for service and operates efficiently throughout trading hours

Educational and skill requirements

Previous management experience within hospitality, food service or customer-focused environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams.
Experience managing sales performance, cash handling, stock control, and operational targets.
Good understanding of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and health and safety requirements.
Computer literate, with experience using POS systems, spreadsheets, and operational reporting tools.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills in Maltese and Englis will be considered an asset.
Possession of a valid maltrse driving licence.

Conduct regular operational checks and ensure company policies and procedures are consistently followed.
Ensure all team members represent the Dee's brand professionally and adhere to uniform standards.

Customer Experience & Brand Promotion

Deliver and maintain exceptional customer service standards.
Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Share customer insights and operational feedback with management to support continuous improvement.
Support local marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and seasonal activities within the outlet.
Ensure all promotional materials and in-store branding are displayed correctly and maintained.

Additional Duties

Attend management meetings and training sessions as required.
Support company initiatives aimed at driving growth and improving operational performance.
Contribute to building a strong, engaged, and results-driven team.
Be available to address urgent operational matters when necessary.
A valid driving licence is required to support operational responsibilities across locations.

Working Conditions

Full-time position requiring flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
A combination of operational floor management and administrative responsibilities.
Expected to provide leadership and support during busy periods and operational challenges
