We are currently looking for a Rooms Technician with db Seabank Resort + Spa.
- Respond to and resolve guest room malfunctions involving furniture, electrical systems, televisions, safes, and plumbing.
- Address maintenance issues logged on the i-link system and ensure timely completion.
- Attend to malfunctions in public areas and other hotel departments, including events, entertainment, and animation.
- Record all completed repairs in the i-link system and assign accurate repair times.
- Prioritize and respond to maintenance requests from various hotel departments.
- Leave maintenance reports in guest rooms after completing repairs, with appropriate signatures.
- Monitor and manage stock levels in sub-stores, ordering materials when necessary.
- Perform evening pool chemical readings and communicate with pool attendants regarding adjustments.
- Assist with emergencies such as pool contamination, fire alarms, and other urgent incidents.
- Address health and safety issues throughout the day.
- Conduct plant system checks, particularly after hours, and ensure boilers, water reservoirs, and pumps are operating efficiently.
- Before leaving, conduct a final check of plant rooms and ensure all doors are properly secured.
- Follow and adhere to all Health and Safety regulations.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong manual dexterity and balance, with the ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and other elevated surfaces.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a conscientious approach to tasks.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A reliable team player with the ability to work independently as needed.
- Strong commitment to health and safety procedures.
