Sales Manager, Kitchens and Home Furniture
Oxford House, synonymous with the import and retail of home appliances, kitchens, home furniture, bedding and office solutions, is seeking to recruit the services of a Sales Manager for its Kitchens and Home Furniture division.
The results-driven Sales Manager will be influential in building a high achieving design team, while being responsible for the strategic departmental targets, ensuring the highest level of quality is met, cultivating a comfortable and productive working environment.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Manage and lead the design team, including training delivery, and performance evaluation.
- Manage communication with clients and actively participate in negotiation processes, targeting project closure.
- Support the design team in taking appropriate decisions to address client requirements.
- Monitor design team response time, while managing effective appointment scheduling.
- Generate leads and sales opportunities to meet business growth plans.
- Liaise with foreign and local counterparts to remain abreast with industry trends.
- Identify and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency and deliver excellence.
- Ensure full company, and health and safety compliance is in place, reporting incidents as required.
- Evaluate and implement changes to the operating system and software to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Educational and skill requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales.
- Bachelor's degree in management adds value to the application.
- Applicants conversant with the furniture field are preferred.
- Fluency in both Maltese and English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coach, motivate and inspire others.
