Senior Accountant
Meliteh Recruiting is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client’s expanding accounting team.
This role involves providing accounting services, supervising junior accountants, and handling a portfolio of clients while ensuring deliverables are met efficiently.
• Provide accounting services and liaise with clients, addressing requests in a timely manner. • Supervise and mentor junior accountants, reviewing their work and providing guidance
• Plan and prioritize deliverables for a portfolio of clients, working independently to meet deadlines
• Report to management on portfolio status and assist in monitoring team performance
• Prepare audit-ready accountancy files and liaise with auditors
• Prepare management accounts in accordance with relevant frameworks and present them to clients
• Prepare and submit VAT Returns and Recap Declarations for clients
• Fully qualified accountant
• Minimum 2-3 years of local experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of payroll processes is an asset
• Foundational understanding of VAT regulations
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other standard office tools
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
