Stores Assistant
Levo Laboratory Services Ltd is currently looking to hire a Stores Assistant on a
full-time basis to join our dedicated team.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Your main areas of activity will be:
- Working in collaboration with the Stores Manager in the preparation of
orders to our various clients, and liasing with management in order to
ensure that orders are organised to the delivery schedule. - Assist in receiving consignments and checking them.
- Assist in issuing certificates of analysis and other documentation
related to products being supplied to clients, including customs
documentation. - Filling, dispensing, packing and labeling various products according
to daily requirements and to help maintain stock of dispensed
materials. - Assist in their respective areas of storage.
- Loading and Unloading of consignments being issued from or
received at warehouse. - Distribution of goods to clients or other errands should the delivery
personnel not be available or unable to deliver. The Company will provide
its vehicles for such activities - Assist Retail Sales, including handling of cash, cheques, card payments,
issuing change and related documentation - Assist in the setting up of control systems, eg barcoding of products in
order to facilitate processing of goods internally and for retail sales - Working in collaboration with company management to stocktake, maintain
stock levels and initiate requests for ordering of replenishment stocks - Participate in any other duties that may arise from time to time and that
are related to the day to day activities of the company. Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, safe working
environment.
Educational and skill requirements
- Prior experience in a stores or inventory assistant role is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
