Right now, we are looking to strengthen further the management of our Kafka Messaging Platform and looking for a DevOps engineer with strong knowledge and experience in managing Kafka infrastructure and a backend engineering background with C#/.NET to be able to work closely with our backend software engineering teams.



What we're looking for:


 - Strong knowledge and experience in setting up and administering Kubernetes clusters, preferably with experience with AWS EKS and Rancher RKE.

 - Strong knowledge and experience of managing Kafka infrastructure in a geo-distributed setup, administration, and configuration of such service.

 - Managing Cloud Infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, with a good understanding of terraform modules.

Senior QA Engineer (Relocation to Malta)

As a Tech Lead at Betsson Group, your primary responsibilities will be geared towards driving technical excellence in our products. You will serve as a bridge between the domain architect(s) and engineering teams, facilitating technical design, decisions and delivery. Being a technical expert, you will actively support our managers in building world class engineering teams. Your main goal is ultimately to drive technical excellence in the domain &ndash; in particular towards improving stability, performance, code quality, and development efficiency. To this end, you will be expected to:

<li>Identify and champion technical improvements for consideration in the roadmap, ensuring the benefits are clear and understood.</li>
<li>Work closely with architects to ensure that the architectural direction and standards are being communicated, aligned &amp; implemented within the teams.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our business and products.</li>
<li>Take the lead on technical design decisions, whilst ensuring alignment with the domain architect(s).</li>
<li>Take an active, hands-on role with important technical initiatives and issues.</li>

What we are looking for
<ul>
<li>A strong technical background in software engineering for web applications.</li>
<li>Highly knowledgeable and experienced with TypeScript / JavaScript and Web Markup (CSS3/HTML5).</li>
<li>A deep understanding of Observable technologies (preference for RxJS).</li>
<li>Highly experienced and comfortable working with large scale applications, including: SDK &amp; FE components architecture, modularisation, efficient application bundling, unit testing, and integrating with backend APIs.</li>
<li>Expertise in delivering highly performant web solutions on an international scale, with preference given to implementing SSR mechanisms and optimising content delivery with CDNs, caching, and other solutions surrounding front-end applications.</li>
<li>Possess demonstrated working experience in defining and documenting technical solutions around front-end architecture and its integration with backend services.</li>
<li>Ability to efficiently review PRs and provide constructive feedback.</li>
<li>Experienced and passionate about coaching and mentoring people, preferably having done so in a similar role.</li>
<li>Highly knowledgeable and experienced with modern agile software development practices, GIT based projects, and CI/CD. </li>
</ul>
Nice to Have:

<li>Knowledge about web component frameworks (ex. StencilJS) is preferred, but not mandatory.</li>
