Our History
The Inspire foundation is the result of a merger between Eden Foundation and Razzett Tal-Hbiberija – two  leading charities that worked in the field of disability. The two organisations transferred all their resources and employees over to the new foundation, which now provides all the services in a one-stop-shop model avoiding duplication, enhancing service delivery and being more cost effective, leading to long term sustainability and added value.

About the Role
We are currently looking for a dedicated &amp; compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our therapeutic programme on a full-time bases. <li>Actively participate in all sessions carried out in different environments including the Multisensory Rooms, the pool, the Therapeutic Horseback Riding area amongst others. </li>

Qualifications &amp; Experience

<li>A recognized &lsquo;Qualification&rsquo; at MQF Level 6 in Psychology/ Education or in a relevant health &amp; social science.</li>
<li>Previous experience in a similar setting or in a relevant field (preference will be given to candidates exposed to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).</li>
<li>High proficiency in English language (C1 Level) (both spoken and written).</li>
<li>Available to work in the afternoons (between 14:30 and 18:30).</li>

About the Role

The practitioner shall be responsible for planning and implementing individual or group sessions and activities according to Inspire’s established standards. This role includes collaboration with the Programme Manager and other professionals to ensure high-quality standards and best practices are always maintained.



What you'll be doing


 - Ensure a good quality service delivery; working towards and implementing best practice methods depending on the client group, including, but not limited to the TEACCH method and SPELL framework.

 - Work towards and implement best practice methods that meet NAS Accreditation and ISO certification standards where applicable.

 - Address parents’ concerns through appropriate methods of feedback, and to seek advice when necessary.

<li>Work with the client during animal interaction and therapeutic horseback riding.</li>
<li>Work with the individuals in the pool during pool sessions, following the guidance of the Instructor/therapist.</li>
<li>Carry out activities together with the individuals as recommended by therapists in the multisensory rooms.</li>
<li>Actively support individuals during vocational training where appropriate.</li>
<li>Carry out transport supervision according to the exigencies of the programme.</li>
<li>Follow the therapists&rsquo; recommendations depending on the needs of each individual.</li>
<li>Follow tutors, teacher&rsquo;s, and therapist&rsquo;s recommendations depending on the SMART goals of each individual.</li>
<li>Follow each individuals Behaviour Support Plans, Risk Assessments, Sensory Profiles under the guidance of the tutors/therapists.</li>
