Our History
The Inspire foundation is the result of a merger between Eden Foundation and Razzett Tal-Hbiberija – two  leading charities that worked in the field of disability. The two organisations transferred all their resources and employees over to the new foundation, which now provides all the services in a one-stop-shop model avoiding duplication, enhancing service delivery and being more cost effective, leading to long term sustainability and added value.

Today, Inspire helps hundreds of individuals with various disabilities ranging from Autism, Cerebral Palsy and others. We do this through many services and disability programmes that are offered.

We are currently looking for an Inclusive Education Practitioner to join our STEP IEI team on a full-time indefinite basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting inclusive education initiatives and empowering individuals to reach their full potential. &nbsp;&nbsp;

What you&rsquo;ll be doing
<ul>
<li>Ensure a good quality service delivery, working towards and implementing best practice methods depending on the client group, including, but not limited to the TEACCH method and SPELL framework.</li>
<li>Work towards and implement best practice methods that meet NAS Accreditation and ISO certification standards where applicable.</li>
<li>Address parents&rsquo; concerns through appropriate methods of feedback, and to seek advice when necessary.</li>
<li>Provide feedback to parents after the delivery of session/intervention, informing them of their child&rsquo;s performance in relation to the objectives being worked on and passing on any resources/recommendations to ensure continuity of care across all settings.</li>
<li>Administer assessments to clients and the development of goals.</li>
<li>Prepare reports and participate in annual reviews for allocated clients.</li>
<li>Develop &lsquo;positive behaviour support plans&rsquo; where applicable and ensure the dissemination of these documents to all relevant stakeholders.</li>
<li>Upkeep of the clients&rsquo; files whilst ensuring that any other forms such as student profiles, weekly and monthly planning sheets, data collection regarding clients&rsquo; performance, client attendances, etc. are completed in a timely manner.</li>

About the role

Our Support Workers shall work with individuals to promote their active participation so that they can take part in meaningful everyday activities, regardless of their level of ability. Therefore, giving those they support more control, improve their confidence and increase their independence.





What you'll be doing


 - Work with individuals during their daily participation in activities to ensure their active engagement to the best of their potential.

 - Support individuals during the provision of services in all possible aspects, including daily feeding needs, hygiene aspects, toileting and changing as well as supporting during transitions.

 - Work with the client during animal interaction and therapeutic horseback riding.

 - Work with the individuals in the pool during pool sessions, following the guidance of the Instructor/therapist.

 - Carry out activities together with the individuals as recommended by therapists in the multisensory rooms.

 - Actively support individuals during vocational training where appropriate.

 - Carry out transport supervision according to the exigencies of the programme.

 - Follow the therapists’ recommendations depending on the needs of each individual.

 - Follow tutors, teacher’s, and therapist’s recommendations depending on the SMART goals of each individual.

 - Follow each individuals Behaviour Support Plans, Risk Assessments, Sensory Profiles under the guidance of the tutors/therapists.

 - Actively support individuals in the participation of sessions according to the curriculum/activities as planned.

 - The Support Worker may be required to research and find creative ways in which sessions can be delivered depending on each individual/group’s needs.

 - The Support Worker may be required to assist the tutors/teachers/therapists with delivering sessions in small groups according to the curriculum/activities.

 - To maintain continuous professional development and consistently commit to develop knowledge in the area on own initiative and/or through training offered by Inspire.

We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our LinC Programme (primary level of education) as a Support Worker on a full-time basis.



Qualifications &amp; Experience

The ideal candidate should possess the following:


 - A recognised ‘Qualification’ at MQF Level 3 or higher (minimum of 60 ECTS/ECVET) in the health and social care.

 - Previous experience within disability field (autism spectrum disorder/challenging behavior).

 - High proficiency in English language (both spoken and written).

What you'll be doing

<li>Performing Facilities and Maintenance works and repairs and working at heights and use of electrical tooling.</li>
