Our Mission
Inspire believes that everyone has a right to equality and inclusion. Our mission is to try to help everyone with a disability achieve this. We do this by providing individuals and their families with educational, therapeutic and leisure services. We also advocate for inclusion, educate the general public, raise awareness among peers, and hold the best knowledge base on disability on the island.

Our History
The Inspire foundation is the result of a merger between Eden Foundation and Razzett Tal-Hbiberija – two  leading charities that worked in the field of disability. The two organisations transferred all their resources and employees over to the new foundation, which now provides all the services in a one-stop-shop model avoiding duplication, enhancing service delivery and being more cost effective, leading to long term sustainability and added value.

Today
Today, Inspire helps hundreds of individuals with various disabilities ranging from Autism, Cerebral Palsy and others. We do this through many services and disability programmes that are offered.

We are currently looking for a Support Worker to join our team on a Full-Time basis. Our support workers must work with individuals to promote their active participation so that they can take part in meaningful everyday activities, regardless of their level of ability. Therefore, giving those they support more control, improve their confidence and increase their independence.
&nbsp;
Main duties &amp; responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Work with individuals during their daily participation in activities to ensure their active engagement to the best of their potential.</li>
<li>Support individuals during the provision of services in all possible aspects, including daily feeding needs, hygiene aspects, toileting and changing as well as supporting during transitions.</li>
<li>Work with the client during animal interaction and therapeutic horseback riding.</li>
<li>Work with the individuals in the pool during pool sessions, following the guidance of the Instructor/therapist.</li>
<li>Carry out activities together with the individuals as recommended by therapists in the multisensory rooms.</li>
<li>Actively support individuals during vocational training where appropriate.</li>
<li>Carry out transport supervision according to the exigencies of the programme.</li>
<li>Follow the therapists&rsquo; recommendations depending on the needs of each individual.</li>
<li>Follow tutors, teacher&rsquo;s, and therapist&rsquo;s recommendations depending on the SMART goals of each individual.</li>
<li>Follow each individuals Behavior Support Plans, Risk Assessments, Sensory Profiles under the guidance of the tutors/therapists.</li>
<li>Actively support individuals in the participation of sessions according to the curriculum/activities as planned.</li>
<li>The Support Worker may be required to research and find creative ways in which sessions can be delivered depending on each individual/group&rsquo;s needs.</li>
<li>The Support Worker may be required to assist the tutors/teachers/therapists with delivering sessions in small groups according to the curriculum/activities.</li>

General Scope and Purpose of Position

We are currently looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker on a Part-time casual basis. Our support workers shall be responsible for assisting individuals, promoting engagement in meaningful daily activities, regardless of their abilities. This approach empowers those they support, boosting their confidence and enhancing their independence.
