We do this by providing individuals and their families with educational, therapeutic and leisure services. Our History
The Inspire foundation is the result of a merger between Eden Foundation and Razzett Tal-Hbiberija – two  leading charities that worked in the field of disability. The two organisations transferred all their resources and employees over to the new foundation, which now provides all the services in a one-stop-shop model avoiding duplication, enhancing service delivery and being more cost effective, leading to long term sustainability and added value.

Today
Today, Inspire helps hundreds of individuals with various disabilities ranging from Autism, Cerebral Palsy and others. We do this through many services and disability programmes that are offered.

Duties &amp; responsibilities&nbsp;

General Scope and Purpose of Position






Our Rehab &amp; Wellness Centre is growing, and we’re looking for a passionate Part-Time Casual Swimming Instructor to join us and help build and grow our swimming team! This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children (from 3 years old) and wants to make a real difference through fun, safe, and engaging pool sessions.

Duties &amp; responsibilities






 - Assist
in planning and implementing the swimming lessons program;


 - Enforces pool rules and
maintains
discipline;


 - Respond to inquiries and requests from staff and customers in a prompt and professional manner;


 - Ensures that all the possible safety measures are
observed, including taking care of proper equipment, conducting regular inspections and training swimming instructors;


 - Assumes the responsibility for the health and safety of swimming lessons participants;


 - Responds quickly and effectively to all rescue and/or emergency situations. Performs first aid techniques and rescue procedures as necessary;


 - Oversees the development, promotion, and implementation of a diversified aquatics program for all ages
in accordance with
community needs; evaluates program effectiveness; recommends changes and implements management decisions;


 - Reports incidents and complaints as
required;


 - Attends the required training as
required;


 - To
assist
with any routine
administration,
work as requested;


 - To
maintain
and upkeep the pool facilities to highest hygiene and health and safety standards;


 - To carry out tasks and duties related to pool maintenance and upkeeping (non-technical);


 - Abide to health and safety requirements under the guidance of the Health and Safety consultant.


 - Be an active participant in an environment that facilitates trust, open communication, creative thinking and cohesive team effort;


 - Work alongside the whole team to ensure a smooth and positive experience is provided to all customers.





Qualification Requirements





The ideal candidate should
possess
the following:






 - MQF Level 3 in Sports/Physical Education or certification in swimming
coaching.


 - Candidates with
previous
experience in swimming/in a relevant field.


 - Preference will be given to
candidates in possession of Lifeguard certification.


 - Available to work on weekends.

About the role
The Team Leader will support the effective delivery of a specialist Day Programme for adults with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). Reporting to the Programme Manager, the Team Leader shall be responsible for supervising support staff, maintaining high-quality, person-centred care, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment, and supporting multidisciplinary collaboration to meet everyone&rsquo;s complex needs. About the role
As an Inclusive Education Practitioner, you must ensure the effective planning and implementation of individual/group sessions and activities according to set standards and criteria. They shall work closely with the Programme Manager, and other professionals to ensure good practice in the service the department provides.

What you'll be doing
<ul>
<li>Develop knowledge in the field they are working in by attending relevant educational institutions and/or training programmes as required, including but not limited to, attending joint sessions with therapists at Inspire or elsewhere.</li>
<li>Ensure a good quality service delivery; working towards and implementing best practice methods depending on the client group, including, but not limited to the TEACCH method and SPELL framework.</li>
<li>Work towards and implement best practice methods that meet NAS Accreditation and ISO certification standards where applicable.</li>
<li>Address parents&rsquo; concerns through appropriate methods of feedback, and to seek advice when necessary.</li>
<li>Provide feedback to parents after the delivery of session/intervention informing them of their child&rsquo;s performance in relation to the objectives being worked on and passing on any resources/recommendations to ensure continuity of care across all settings.</li>
<li>Administer assessments to clients and the development of goals.</li>
<li>Prepare reports and participate in annual reviews for allocated clients.</li>

<li>Attend school visits and maintain documentation regarding school visits, IEP&rsquo;s, and MAPS sessions where and as needed.</li>
<li>Keep updated about the curriculum being followed at school and make this accessible to the clients.</li>
<li>Actively participate in all sessions carried out in different environments including the Multisensory Rooms, the pool, the Therapeutic Horseback Riding area amongst others.</li>
