Accounts/Administration Clerk

We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and self-motivated individual to assist the directors in the Accounts department and administration.

The ideal candidate will be responsible of various accounting and administrative duties.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Daily mails

  • Daily calls

  • Posting of suppliers' invoices

  • Issuing of monthly tenants' invoices

  • Chasing debtors and payments to creditors

  • Journal entries

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Assisting in quarterly VAT returns

Educational and skill requirements

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role

  • A' level in Accounts would be considered an asset

  • Able to use standard office tools with good administrative skills

  • Applicant should be able to work on own initiative, be organised and pay attention to detail

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Maltese

  • Experience in SAGE software will also be considered an asset
