B2B Distribution/Sales Representative

Fortune Distribution Ltd is a leading player in the consumer IT products sector, dedicated to delivering high-quality technology solutions to our customers. We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Distribution Sales Representative to join our sales team. This role is pivotal in managing our wholesale distribution channels and fostering strong relationships with resellers to drive business growth.

Job Summary:

The Distribution Sales Representative will be responsible for managing and expanding our distribution network within the consumer IT products sector. The primary focus of this role is to build and maintain strong relationships with resellers, visiting their outlets regularly to understand their needs, provide product training, and drive sales growth. You will be supported by an administrative team as well as Head of Sales to assist in your role. Role is mostly involving outdoor sales function by visiting existing as well as new resellers.

Main tasks and responsibilities

In this sales representative position, you will be responsible for the sales and distribution of Fortune’s portfolio products (Brands such as HP, Modecom, Verbatim, Printers and Laptops) 

Wholesale Distribution Management:

  • Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with resellers for IT products.
  • Monitor inventory, analyse sales data, and provide forecasts to ensure optimal stock levels.

Business Development:

  • Identify new business opportunities and potential reseller partners in the IT products sector.
  • Generating Leads and approaching clients

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing resellers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Visit clients and understand their requirement whilst promoting the Company’s goods.
  • Provide regular updates, training, and support to resellers to maximize their sales potential.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and product development, to address reseller needs and enhance product offerings.

Sales and Performance Tracking:

  • Set ambitious sales targets and develop action plans to achieve them.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyse data, and identify areas for improvement.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, new product releases, and technological
  • advancements in the IT products sector.
Educational and skill requirements
  • Experience working in a sales environment, preferably in a B2B, distribution sector, with a proven sale record
  • A hands-on approach to work, strong business acumen as well as a demonstrated passion for sales
  • Knowledge of IT products and their market dynamics is considered and asset, however not necessary.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with resellers.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
