Chef de Partie
Acqua Restaurant in Portomaso is currently looking to recruit a full-time experienced Chef de Partie who is reliable and can work within a team. The applicant needs to be able to monitor food consistency and quality.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Verifying all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance
- Supervising all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards are met
- Assisting with the management of health and safety
- Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
- Monitoring portion and waste control
- Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards
Educational and skill requirements
- Minimum 1/2 years experience in a Mediterranean/Fish restaurant
- Understandable level of English spoken and written
- Knowledge and ability to run a section
- Team management skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge plus those around you
- Positive and welcoming behavior
- Applicants are required to work in the evenings, on Public holidays and during weekends.
