Chief Business Officer

The COO will play a pivotal role in scaling Ballotra Media by ensuring smooth execution of our strategic goals. As a key member of the leadership team, you will oversee daily operations, manage cross-departmental coordination, and drive both market expansion and internal process optimization. The team will be reporting directly to the COO. This role will require a focus on improving revenue generation, service delivery, and operational efficiency while aligning with the company’s values and long-term objectives.

  • Strategic Implementation: Work closely with the CEO to develop and implement strategic decisions that drive company growth and align operations with long-term goals.
  • Department Coordination: Ensure seamless coordination between the Marketing, Creative, Development, and Sales teams for efficient project execution and service delivery.
  • Operational Process Optimization: Review and enhance existing operational processes to ensure they are aligned with the company’s strategic goals and values, ensuring stability, discipline, and scalability.
  • Market Penetration & Expansion: Oversee and manage the operational aspects of expanding into new markets, optimizing existing ones, and enhancing the quality of service delivery.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring smooth, uninterrupted business processes.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources efficiently to meet the company’s strategic objectives, ensuring each department has the tools, personnel, and budgets needed to succeed.
  • Revenue Optimization: Set and track revenue benchmarks, working to optimize operations to increase profitability and reduce operational inefficiencies.
  • Client Retention & Service Excellence: Focus on enhancing client retention through improved service delivery and client satisfaction, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor the performance of all departments, providing regular updates and reports to the CEO. Use data-driven insights to guide operational decisions and performance improvements.
  • Profitability Monitoring: Continuously analyze operational costs and profitability, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
Educational and skill requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior operational role, preferably as a COO or equivalent Senior in a marketing, design, or tech-driven company.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and tech services.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, with the ability to translate high-level goals into actionable plans.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and foster collaboration.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to set benchmarks and track key operational metrics.
  • Experience in managing market expansion and optimizing service delivery for client retention.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Prior experience in scaling a business or agency is a plus.
