Commis Chef

Manon Bistro is looking for a skilled and dedicated Commis Chef to join the team on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in food preparation, including cutting and chopping ingredients as per kitchen requirements.

  • Follow plating instructions and standard recipes to ensure consistency.

  • Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment throughout service.

  • Clean the kitchen after each shift and uphold hygiene standards.

  • Follow instructions from the Head Chef and kitchen team efficiently.

  • Work under pressure in a busy kitchen environment while ensuring quality and speed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Commis Chef.

  • Must understand and communicate well in English.

  • Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

Working Schedule:

  • Tuesday to Saturday, with Sunday exceptions when needed.
