Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Content Writer and Digital Marketing Executive to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative articles for Findit Business News, managing social media marketing, liaising with clients, and reaching out to new potential clients to promote our business news platform. This position is ideal for someone who is creative, organized, and has a passion for both content creation and digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Write engaging, informative, and well-researched articles for Findit Business News, adhering to SEO best practices.
  • Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their business stories are showcased effectively on our platform.
  • Social Media Management: Develop and execute social media marketing strategies to promote articles and increase visibility across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • New Client Outreach: Identify and approach potential clients to introduce them to the Findit Business News platform, explaining how their business can benefit from increased exposure.
  • Content Promotion: Use creative tactics to drive engagement and traffic to published articles, maximizing the platform’s reach.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on industry trends and news to create relevant, timely, and appealing content for the business news sector.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Proven experience in content writing, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with a strong command of English (Maltese fluency is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently to meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable liaising with clients and handling outreach activities to build lasting relationships.
  • A positive, self-driven attitude with a passion for storytelling and marketing.

Educational and skill requirements
  • Educational Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Or Strong background in aericle Writing.
    • Additional certifications in Digital Marketing, Content Strategy, SEO, or Social Media Marketing are highly desirable but not essential.

    Skill Requirements:

    • Content Writing: Proven ability to create compelling, clear, and engaging content with a strong narrative focus. Exceptional command of the English language (both written and verbal), with proficiency in Maltese being a bonus.
    • Digital Marketing: Solid understanding of digital marketing concepts, including SEO, keyword research, content optimization, and social media strategies.
    • Client Relations: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, ensuring their needs are met and business objectives are achieved.
    • Social Media Management: Experience in managing and growing social media channels, particularly Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter, with an eye for creating content that drives engagement.
    • Project Management: Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple projects at once and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze digital performance data (traffic, social media engagement, etc.) and adjust strategies to improve results.
    • Sales and Outreach: Comfortable with client outreach and business development, presenting services and negotiating deals to meet client needs.
    • Creativity and Initiative: A creative thinker with a proactive mindset, always looking for new ways to engage the audience and bring innovative ideas to the table.
    • Tools and Platforms: Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), social media management tools, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.).
    • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all content and marketing initiatives.
