Koperattiva Produtturi tal-Ħalib Group Ltd. (KPH), which is the Dairy Farmers’ Cooperative, was established in June 1958 in order to bring together all the dairy producers in Malta and Gozo to further promote their interests and increase their competitive advantage. Over the years KPH has been a leader in several agricultural activities, which include grain and feed importation, feed manufacturing, farm supplies, and support services, milk processing, and the production and distribution of the well-known Benna fresh milk products. Considerable investments throughout the years enabled the Cooperative to evolve. Members started expanding their activities penetrating and sustaining vital sectors within the local dairy and agricultural industry.

Storekeeper - Maintenance Department

Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Technical Leader, the Storekeeper - Maintenance Department shall coordinate with the Technical Leader and Senior Technicians to effectively manage the company assets.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Organize the maintenance store and ensure that every store location (cabinets/shelving/racks) is tagged accordingly.
Ensure safekeeping of parts and that all parts are stored in a manner that is easy to find and to prepare for use.
Apply good stores management practices and parts management to ensure parts and any other equipment retain full reliability while stored.
Ensure the cleanliness of the store and parts, and that the store is kept in order.
Responsible for general control over all activities in stores.
Ensure that only authorized persons have access to the store.
Prepare parts for preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance.
Assist the Maintenance personnel in determining parts and accessories requirements for maintenance jobs and issue parts to the Maintenance team as may be required.
Control inventory in/out of parts and keep appropriate records.
Ensure the minimum and maximum spare parts quantity is enough in the store.
Responsible for making stock analysis, such as fast-moving or slow-moving parts analysis.
Monitor and take stock of inventory regularly.
Compile stock requirements based on needs and prepare parts requisitions.
Follow up with suppliers for the parts delivery.
Receive parts and verify that all parts received are as per the agreed purchase, delivery note, and the agreed quantity has been received.
Inspect the incoming parts.
Perform any other additional tasks as and when requested by the Engineering and Maintenance Manager or Executive, including providing support/assistance to the maintenance team.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Educational and skill requirements

MQF Level 4 or equivalent.
Good spoken and written English.
Proficient in computer use, especially Microsoft Office tools and ERP systems, will be considered an asset.
