Experienced Goldsmith

We are currently seeking an Experienced Goldsmith to join our in-house jewellery workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting, repairing, and restoring fine jewellery pieces, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship in keeping with the brand’s luxury identity.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Perform expert-level jewellery repairs, including ring resizing, soldering, polishing, stone setting, and claw re-tipping.
  • Manufacture, assemble and finish fine jewellery using precious metals and gemstones.
  • Conduct quality control checks on finished pieces to ensure excellence in craftsmanship.
  • Work collaboratively with the retail team to interpret and execute bespoke customer requests.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean workbench in line with health and safety standards. 
Educational and skill requirements
  • Proven experience as a goldsmith or bench jeweller, preferably in a luxury or fine jewellery setting.
  • Proficient in traditional goldsmith techniques including soldering, setting, filing, and polishing.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of manual precision.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of gemstones and an understanding of jewellery construction and materials.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Maltese is considered an asset.
