Food and Beverage Personnel

ESSE LTD on behalf of Palazzo Castagna is seeking to recruit Food and Beverage Personnel to join their Boutique Hotel located in Hal Ghaxaq on full-time basis. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for the guests.

Responsibilities include:

• Greet customers and hand out menus;
• Take meal and beverage orders from customers and place these orders in the kitchen;
• Make menu recommendations and inform patrons of any specials;
• Deliver meals and beverages to tables when they have been prepared;
• Check that customers are satisfied with their meal;
• Prepare the bill for tables when requested;
• Cash up bills and ensure that the correct amount has been paid;
• Administer change to tables if needed;
• Communicate and work hand in hand with the kitchen and other wait-on staff;
• Ensure all HACCP guidelines are being adhered to;
• Learn how to make, and train where needed, cocktails and all beverage menu;
• Assist in preparing any new beverage menus required;
• In charge of Wine and Wine lists as well as order for the wines;
• Any other job deemed necessary for the running of hotel by management.
  
  

Requirements:

• Preferably experience working in a similar position;
• Flexibility in terms of shifts;
• Ability to work in Hal Ghaxaq, with limited access via public transport;
• A positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
