General Manager - The Eden

The Eden Entertainment Centre is one of Eden Leisure Group’s newest venues, offering a diverse range of activities including bowling, duck pin bowling, laser tag, Karaoke, arcades, event spaces and dining experiences. We are looking for a General Manager to lead the team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of The Eden’s operations, ensuring its profitability, growth and exceptional customer experience. The role requires a strong leader with expertise in entertainment, hospitality or retail management, capable of driving strategic initiatives and leading a dynamic team.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Entertainment Centre, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain operational procedures to enhance customer satisfaction and business performance.
  • Ensure that all facilities, equipment and technology are well-maintained and operational.
  • Manage budgets and cost control measures.
  • Monitor revenue streams, optimize profitability and identify new income opportunities.
  • Manage supplier contracts, stock control and overall expense management.
  • Develop promotional strategies to drive footfall and revenue.
  • Enhance customer experience through innovative attractions, events and service improvements.
  • Oversee loyalty programs and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Lead and inspire a team of department managers, supervisors and staff, ensuring a positive work environment.
  • Recruit, train and develop employees to deliver top-tier service.
  • Implement staff scheduling, performance management and motivation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and licensing regulations.
  • Maintain security and risk management protocols to safeguard customers, staff and assets.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
Educational and skill requirements
  • Proven experience in a management role within the entertainment, hospitality or retail sector.
  • Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
  • Business acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.
  • Marketing and sales expertise with a customer-focused approach.
