Hotel Manager

Water’s Edge is looking for an experienced and motivated Hotel Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our hotel and ensure an exceptional experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Lead, motivate and manage hotel staff across all departments.
• Ensure high standards of guest service, cleanliness and hospitality are consistently maintained.
• Monitor occupancy, revenue, costs and overall hotel performance.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Coordinate with department heads to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
• Manage staff schedules, training and performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements and applicable regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Support the development and implementation of business and operational strategies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel management or senior hospitality position.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems will be considered an asset.
• A positive, hands-on approach and the ability to lead by example.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Maltese and/or other languages is considered an asset.
