IT Administrator

What You'll Be Doing

• Administering and maintaining Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and domain infrastructure
• Managing network infrastructure across multiple sites (routers, switches, firewalls, VPN connections)
• Overseeing user account management, permissions, and Microsoft 365 administration
• Administering and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, licensing, and security settings)
• Supporting and maintaining our POS systems, network-connected hardware, and site infrastructure
• Learning and administering our custom in-house software (full training and handover provided)
• Managing backups, UPS systems, and business continuity measures across sites
• Working on infrastructure projects (e.g., server upgrades, network security improvements, system rollouts)
• Assisting with and contributing to broader IT initiatives across the business as needed
• Escalation point for complex issues raised by First Line Support
• Liaising with external vendors and service providers as needed
• Documenting systems, configurations, procedures, and processes for internal reference.

What We're Looking For

• Solid experience administering Windows Server and Active Directory environments
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs)
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, licensing, and security settings)
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining multi-site IT infrastructure
• Valid driving license required
• Willingness to work overtime when needed
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Comfortable learning and eventually managing custom/proprietary software specific to our business (full training provided - no prior experience required)
• Retail or multi-site business experience is an advantage, but not essential.
