IT System Administrator
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is tasked with delivering technical support and assistance to ensure the seamless operation of the company's IT infrastructure. This position involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts, and maintaining network and system security.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Provide first-level support for IT issues, including hardware, software, and network problems.
- Respond to and resolve user inquiries and issues promptly, whether in person, via phone, or through email.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, backups, and patch management.
- Monitor system performance and report any irregularities.
- Support the administration of local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and other network segments.
- Assist with the configuration and maintenance of network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts in accordance with company policies.
- Manage permissions and access rights to ensure data security.
Educational and skill requirements
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals, or similar.
- Efficiency in task management.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Quick problem-solving abilities.
